2BR retreat w/ sea views & outdoor dining

Positive: Great place, everything yuu need in the flat. I understand that constructions apposite the road is not what yuu would like or could control, but it did not bother us very much.

Overall a lovely stay Positive: Liked the location. We know Estepona very well and this was a really good location for us. We liked that the property was quite new and furnished tastefully. The pool area was lovely too. Negative: The second bedroom is way too small for the size of the bed. You can’t even walk around the bed and have to crawl across it. However the bed was very comfy. The kitchen area is very small and not much work surface.

Great value for money! Positive: Superb new apartment with nice design and furnitures. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and kitchenware. Nice and calm urbanisation. Proper size pool was great as well. Easy to walk to Aldi, Pharmacy and even Mercadona. Car needed but that we knew in advance. Restaurant hint, good italian Zingara nearby, easy to walk in 10 minutes. Negative: A bit confusing that property management company´s arrival instructions were misleading. In the Booking.com site there was the right information. Ultimate Rentals sent their own property site link that had arrival info for some different apartment in Cancelada, with of course wrong address, parking space and entry information. Took a while to figure out this. Of course this is not apartment owners fault. Another thing, two keys would be beneficial. My husband and son were golfing a lot and I had my own program. Two keys to the apartment would help with different schedules.

Positive: Los propietarios han cuidado cada detalle del piso. Las camas son súper cómodas y también las almohadas. No recuerdo haber dormido tan bien fuera de casa. El apartamento es nuevo y todo dentro de él respira limpieza. Es muy coqueto y contiene lo necesario para hacer unas vacaciones inolvidables. La terraza es inmensa y podría aprovecharse mucho en condiciones "normales". Me explico más adelante. La familia propietaria ha dejado un libro con notas para los huéspedes sobre sus sitios preferidos para visitar, comer, que me ha parecido un detalle tremendo. Negative: Lo comparto porque estaría faltando a la verdad si no lo hiciera, sin embargo he decidido no quitarle puntuación pues realmente son dos circunstancias ajenas al alojamiento. Me explico. Llegamos un sábado y la piscina había sido cerrada el día anterior, cosa que no nos informaron oportunamente y que, como se puede entender con facilidad, habría hecho muy posiblemente que decidiéramos no ir pues con dos niños pequeños una piscina en verano es imprescindible, máxime cuando la playa más cercana no es de calidad desde nuestro punto de vista. Encima, justo en la acera de enfrente están realizando obras importantes, lo que supuso en nuestro caso no poder usar la terraza pues a las 8:00 empezaban las obras, con todo el ruido de la maquinaria de construcción y la suciedad de la tierra siendo removida, y no terminaban hasta pasadas las 18:00 horas. Si bien el tema de la piscina fue una circunstancia sobrevenida, el de la construcción era algo sabido y considero que debería especificarse en el anuncio mientras las obras persistan. El inmueble es espectacular, pero no puede aprovecharse en su máxima capacidad por esta razón.
